Applications Engineer (position available in Corpus Christi, Texas)

Responsible  for providing technical support to customers and sales staff in the application of our Anotherm substrates as high wattage circuit boards for LED lighting and low voltage power conversion.  Additionally, he/she will assist customers with applications that utilize any of our full range of specialty chip resistors and application specific thick film products.  Successful applicant will draw upon their prior training and experience to provide creative solutions that incorporate thick film products into custom designs.

Must possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, minimum 2 years of LED or LED lighting design experience in the commercial architectural or automotive lighting market with working knowledge of trends, opportunities and electronic design issues in the market. Experience in applications engineering and electronic component sales/marketing a plus. Successful candidate will be proficient in the use of CAD, word processing and spreadsheet software packages.
